I stood on a mountain top for the first time in months, granite peaks bursting above the clouds and the world below out of sight.
I felt small in comparison to these surrounding giants that stand tall like guardians of the land.
I hear the calming sound of the burn slowly trickling along, it glistens - reflecting its surroundings like a freshly polished mirror.
Red deer graze below on the green pastures that have been free of human presence for months, they seemed unfazed.
The sky was so blue and the heat of the morning sun warmed me with the same comfort of a hug from a loved one.
Nature is in bloom, it always carries on.
The Golden Gates to the mountains have re opened and heaven most certainly still exists.
